I would like to know if anybody knows this song from a few lyrics, I know it's a heavy metal band but not sure of their name - when your feet are in a wishing well (or something like that).

There was a song called Wishing Well, by Blackfoot.
BUT........this is like a seventies rock band, not really a heavymetal band........plus, I'm basing this guess solely on the fact that you said wishing well.
