"If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?" Whenever the answer has been "No" for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something.
Isn't remembering that you are going to die the best way to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose? You are already naked, aren’t you? So, there is no reason not to follow your heart.
If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you'll most certainly be right.
What do you think about above said?

They sound like a good start from which to begin, rather than a goal at which to end.

Change is always good. But change must always have a purpose.

What are you about to do today? You are reading my answer to your question so I guess I am a huge change factor in your life! See, I'm still moving your life and destiny around, if you discontinue reading my answer then it will all change! Don't do that, I'm on a roll! Just stay with me on this, your the one who got me started in the first place! "YES" say it with me! C'mon just say it "YES"! Well there you go, that just made the "No" thing into something else! WOW! So besides all this stuff about you and your question, Am I making your day a little more interesting and fun? Yeah yeah, back to the question! Death? Where did that even pop out of? Oh it was me remembering your question again! But did you think about dieing the whole time you were reading my answers to your questions? I wasn't so You coul've but were you? You can answer that later! Do you think I've been pretty much right so far? If not, I don't care because I'm naked and as far as I'm concerned I'm right! Go ahead and try to tell me different! I know what I know and what I am telling you I believe in my heart, I just changed your life I changed it up! And now my life is going in another direction because I had to tell you I can make No into Yes and neither of us had anything to lose because I and You do to, believe in my heart that I'm right! And naked. I'm naked! WHAAWHAATT did you do to me?

Hey you are so right. Since tomorrow is my last day I will not go to work, I will max out my credit card and send all the stuff to my family, eat drink and be merry, OH YEA and strip off my clothing and run through the mall because I am already naked.

What have I got to lose, tomorrow I die...

You see there are reasons to NOT live as tomorrow is your last day.

I really would like to run naked through the mall.
That used to be called streaking. Back in the 70's

I changed 3 yrs ago. I became more open minded and accepting and nicer. But I didn't change by thinking tomorrow is my last day. Instead I think about what I want people to say at my funeral. If I think that tomorrow is my last day then I can't plan ahead and look forward to anything.

If you are asking this question, then you are wanting to change. Try a different job, career, go back to college and learn something completely different. Take up art and crafts and learn about your creative side, travel if you can afford it, join a group that you'd never thought you'd join. Meet lots of people. I'm 35 and still haven't found out what I want to be when I grow up.
Good luck!

I personally think that it is a good way to live life. It's the same as saying that people has only one life to live. But I also believe that thinking of death so that one can live his life to the fullest each day that he lives is something quite pessimistic in nature. Why not say, " Live life because it is something given to me. Live it according to whatever purpose or whatever is needed for me to do." Though, it might sound quite the same as written above, I would pick this one instead. I'd rather be optimistic. And yes, it does sound quite serious and spiritual in some ways... Well that's just my opinion. :)

Well, I don't have anything nearly as insightful, but I just moved 1050 miles away from everyone I know, just for a change. I've always wanted to do something that everyone thought was stupid. I've only been here 3 weeks, and it was the best decision I have ever made.

More people should follow their hearts. Life should be fulfilling and joyful. Follow your bliss.
