Yes I know that males and females can be friends without anything happening, nothign sexual or romantic. However, is it possible for there not to be ANY sexual or romantic feelings AT ALL between them? Even if they're very close and known each other for at least a year?

It depends about the level or measures of friendship they have. There are type of friendship that "platonic" a purely friend relationship. It’s rooted for their younger years or a friendship bear in 1-6 months or to 1 year or so. And it’s normal for them to be companion together because they treat their selves as a brother or a sister. But others involved a romantic or sexual feeling because sometimes love develop lately for their friendship that they both cannot resist the attraction for each other. Late realization --- which they both fall in love.

I know its possible. My best friend is a guy and I have known him for a long time. I think of him like my brother so there could never be any type of sexual or romantic feelings between us

You know.. I can only say what I have experienced.. I do have a friend that I have had for years... But there has always been hint of interest.. But after 20 years of friendship you wonder what if.
But yet wont cross the line.. because you know you take a chance on changing a wonderful close intimate male friend you can talk to about anything and everything.. and have learned to love..

Of course there are always possiblities for feelings between them. Not always though, b/c I have a best friend that's a guy and we are really close but I don't see him in that way, he is just a really good friend that' s a guy, but it is always possible

why the heck not.?? the feelings between lovers and friendship is different. if a feling of sexual or romantic exist in the friendship, it can't be right, the answer could only be either is the hormones or u do have feelings toward him/her

i think it's possible nomatter what. the best romantic feelings can stem from a great friendship, and those friendships are the ones that usually end up in the longest lasting marriages.

I think I can happen in girl or boy life. Because I have a lot of boy friend I mean my bestfriend... I f they are not our soulmate we wont fall in love and get a romantica relationship.. I think its okay if boy or girl be a best friend... Happy choosing and take care...

Yes, i have guy friends who i do not ever look at in a sexual way but then again i have some i wudn't say no to either!:)

i have so many friends that are female, i love all of them and i dont mean make love to all of them. They know everything about me and I them, I find girls easier to talk to then guys. and yes they know i have a girlfriend.
