If its legit and the gov is letting people know about it does that mean they have known about it for years upon years? I mean the US gov hasnt exactly been known for letting the cat out of the bag on secret projects especialy one as important as quantum physics would be... And yes I am extreamly paranoid person here so it could be that taking over. Oh and side question... What do you think the effects of quantum physics will be on our future?

quantum physics is as legit as any other science.... its not a secret project... there is PLENTY of info out there on all the weird stuff quantum physics has to offer...
as for its effects on our future.. its going to help us understand our world better.. and its going to absolutely blow our minds, by proving to us things that we cant imagine to be real right now

Quantum physics has been around for a long long time. Bohr, Plank,Shrodigner and many of Einstein's contemporary and freinds debated and experimented on it. It is an awsome and facinating science, it is not easy to grasp because it is abstract and the hiden variables defies logic as we know it!
Many progress has been made tough.
I think the hissed variables Einstein talked about
are hidden in another universe perhaps made of four dimentions of space where time would also be affected (angular time) so that an object could move in two directions at the same moment (like an electron...) Wich could be why in our 3d space we can only determine its position OR its momentum.

Quantum physics has been developed by foreign scientists in foreign countries. The US government has no control over what they publish.
Quantum physics has lead to the development of computers, lasers, and numerous other technologies, so it has already affected our future, but quantum effects are only manifest at extremely small distances so they will most likely not affect our future beyond technological developments.

The US govt doesn't "control" this knowledge. As another person wrote, the theory has been around for something like 100 years.
So far, no one has invented or built something that relies and quantum physics/mechanics AND has a practical use. But the possibilities are amazing.

It's legit. There's no secrets, to it. Just watch 'What the Bleep' it explains a lot about that stuff. It's hard to say what the future of Quantum Physics holds, there's still a lot of stuff we don't really understand about it.

I belive that are bum holes are actually wormholes and our farts are the carriers of truth. OUr future will involve a sweaty russian named Heathcliff rubbing our fragile bodies with puzzling mix of goo and Chex cereal.
