yes, that's what they are hoping you do in every town and state, just mail in a money order for the amount on the ticket.

It depends on why you got the ticket. Was there an accident involved or other more serious situation? Have you gotten a lot of tickets from that state? If yes, then you may be required to show up.

However, if it is just a fine, then there should be number or instructions on the ticket somewhere that explains how to pay the fine without going there.

If you just pay the fine, that state will report to your state that you have in-effect declared that you were guilty and they will add some points to your driving license. If you get enough points within a certain amount of time (different for different states) then you will have your driver's license revoked.

umm...yeah ya' have to pay it or a warrant gets issued for your arrest :P okay okay that's a last ditch effort on the states part but it is still a viability.

Yes you can easily mail the payment to the courthouse. It is an admission of no contest and/or guilty. Don't look at it in poor light. No one care sif you have a speeding ticket on your record except for your insurance agency. It is considered a minor traffic viloation of a misdemeanor degree. Really it's piddly.

If you really want to know how to handle the ticket properly. Call the number listed on the ticket and speak to that clerk of court. That is their job. And if you pay by mail please send a check or money order, NO CASH.

You can mail the payment. The information of where to send it should be on the ticket.

I bet if you turn it over it will have instructions. Or at the very least, a phone number of someone who can answer your question will more authority than anyone that may try to answer your question in here, including me.
