The seller wants to have good feedback on ebay so will send the item to you, I would think that the seller would receive a certificate of postage for the item sent to you, if you have paid by paypal for the item, and you don't receive it, you can make a claim up to £500 from paypal. But check out the seller's feedback to see whether they have a good reputation before buying anything.

Most sellers on eBay are honest and bend over backwards to keep their customers happy. Once your payment reaches the seller, they should ship it out right away. Some sellers ship on certain days of the week and not on other days. Read the listing to find out if they have any information on shipping. If you still have doubts, send them a friendly email to ask how they shipped it and if they have a tracking number.
Good luck!

Good sellers normally put a time scale for posting near the bottom of the advert.
I also tell my buyers when I will be posting and after I have posted (I also post the very next working day).
You could always click on the "ask the seller a question" & ask them that very same question.
Some sellers only post on specific days due to work committment so it's best if you ask them direct (don't forget that Bnak Holiday always slows down the post).
Good luck :-)

Some sellers are nice and tell you when they have sent the item, but just ask them, send them a message.

After its shipped they should send you a tracking number. And if you paid through Paypal, you get a reciept. So this way if they take your money, you know you paid for an item and you can take it to ebay for a dispute.
