I am researching the amount of people who respond depending on if the question is shown on the front page. Please say hi if you see it without entering a category. Also let us know if you had to enter a category to answer it.
The theory is that a question gets more "hits" if it shows up on the main page.

You mean the featured questions?? Sometimes I will answer them but most of the time I don't and I don't have to choose a category to see the featured ones. Most of the questions I answer are on the main page after clicking answers which is what I think you mean and you don't have to select a category there either - they are all grouped together- the newest ones.

i do if i just answer questions if they are in the front page cuz its just right there so i think the theory that if its in the front it get more hits its true let me know the results when u finish i would like 2 know
