No, you're not the only one. I consider myself pretty liberal but I don't want my 7 & 9 year old listening to anybody have an orgasm or what sounds like one. It's done on purpose, for who knows what reason. It doesn't impress me. That commercial is just in bad taste along with a lot of others. I refuse to buy that brand of shampoo based soley on their advertising and their total disregard for family values. It's nice when products are advertised for what they are without making the ad into a dirty movie for small children to watch.

I agree: It's aggravating and it's everywhere, not just in shampoo ads! How about hitting the offensive manufacturers where it hurts? Organize boycotts of the products in your community and write the companies as well as your local media telling them explicitly why you won't be buying their stuff. And watch out for other sources; television is the most obvious but magazines and other print media like billboards, store fliers, etc. can carry similar images.

And the sanitary pad commercials where they pour the blue water on them? I guess it must be hard to have a kid that age. I don't know how you could not let him watch TV, that seems pretty harsh.

then for god's sake, don't ever let your kids wear american eagle or abercrombie! yeah, it's disturbing, but somebody is obviously making money off it, so it's not going to disappear any time soon. sex is something practically everyone desires, and if a company tries to market that, you'll buy it. not because you really need it, but because you desire it. teach your kids right, and it won't be a problem....

It is more insulting to me because those commercials are insulting to my intelligence than insulting to me because they are sexual. Program your tv set not to include those channels.
