He did a lot on 9/11, he rallied the country, and the week that followed was probably the strongest time in his presidency.
Since you weren't very explicit, I don't know if you meant before or after the attacks.
If you're implying that he knew about the attacks ahead of time, then I must inform you the CIA gets literally thousands of threats like these every day, and has to decide whether to take them seriously or not. and NO ONE in the pre-9/11 world could have predicted what was about to go down.
If you're saying that after the attacks he did nothing for seven minutes, well, I can't blame him. It was a terrible realization for all Americans, and I took MORE then seven minutes for me to sort through my thoughts. Remaining calm as an authority figure is always the right thing to do!!!

I thought is was more like 8.3 minutes. Oh well, I guess I was wrong.
What kind of question is this? Maybe the man passed gas and didn't want to stir the wind to spread it around. It boggles the mind the questions about 9/11 and Bush. Amazing.

No, idiot. He was reading to kids who expected him to be in the room for about 20 minutes. To have him jump up and run out, shouting orders to his staff after another man unexpectedly whispers in his ear would have frightened those kids half to death. The kids know the President has a very important job. If they'd seen what I described, they would have immediately thought something is very wrong, and are my mom and dad OK? He did exactly the right thing in not creating panic. Anybody who disagrees, such as DTB, is a fool. Period.

As with anything else he does, he is mentally slow. Aside from 911, there is Katrina, Enron, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. And his advisors are just a bunch of yes - men twits. As to the goat, I'm not sure, ask Dick Cheney.

Yes, he wanted to read the story, and make sure there was a happy ending.
They served milk and cookies afterwards.
