I thought it would be use-full to learn how I would do this if I ever got stranded on a deserted island. One way to make glue is to use the crushed up bits of animal bones and add them to water boil the water I'm not sure for how long but it should eventually get somewhat thick. That is why you hear stories of horse hoofs and same thing with fish glue.

u go to the store and look for this little bottle w/ the words elmers glue on it. that simple
or u can jus use gum

DON'T MAKE HOME MADE GLUE!

The fumes cause harmful side effects.

boil sugar or starch and wait fo it to solidify in the solid form. It will be sticky.
