i know by saying what i'm about to, i'm just as rediculous as everyone else who comes here to degradingly state their opinion, but i have to say it.
i'm a liberal myself, and i'm really tired of the comments toward people who feel the same why i do. "grow some b.al.l.s and learn to fight"? i wonder how many people who say that are willing to go into this war themselves? instead they bash people who want peace. or they agree with us for wanting it, then say we need to fight for it in war. does anyone really think about it? how often do you find an organized group of people who believe in this war, out in the public, showing support?? not often. but you'll always find people who don't want war out showing what it means to them. i'd say, if you want people to know how you feel, maybe you need to grow ba.ll.s. and show it instead of bashing us for doing what we do. we dont support terrorism, we just dont think you need a war to bring peace. a bit of an oxy moron isnt it?

any society that lays down it's arms for the advancement of peace will most certainly lose it. Human nature will always dictate that there are those around us that will take by force what they can. If this wasn't true, we'd have no reason for any type of law enforcement or laws period. Since human nature allows people to forcibly institute their will, those that are not willing to forcibly hold their own freewil will lose it.

And.. the reason why people aren't "out in the streets" supporting the war effort is simple. We are fighting the war, no reason to "campaign a cause" that is already happening. It's kinda the same way I don't see a bunch of "pro-choicers" out on their pupits on the street corners. If they're not out their they must not be doing anything to support it.

It's the entire reason for the Second amendment. The first amendment gives freedom, the second amendment secures that freedom.

The entire Mid East crises could have been strictly Israels problem. Thirty years ago a strategy for peace was put on the table. It was incentives for the production of alternative energies. Well, the oil barons, Bushco, and the rest of the greed based Neocons saw that this got squashed and that America was enslaved to the oil based economy.
Peaceful means have never been allowed to flourish in this country. It takes time and perseverance. Unfortunately greed has no patience or regard for humanity, so we bark at one another while we all take in the...
