what's it like after leaving school, dorms, etc. is it still easy to meet new people?

Not as easy as you think.
It took me a while to adjust to life after college. Your friends grow up, move on, and it can be kinda sad.
Just roll with it, and try to move on like everyone else.
Oh, and don't visit your college too soon after you leave. I found that made it easier for me.

My son Tomas just started working after finishing his mech. engineering degree at the U. of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez. Maybe his experience and mine could help you.
Since PR has many ec. problems, he had to move to Conn to work. I helped him get started and he bought a Honda with a stick shift and had to learn to drive a stick on ice. Good trick. The point is that he had to move and make a lot of adjustments. Now he is happy but I will continue if you want to continue reading.
He has friends mostly through his job. They like to go out and shoot pool and eat pizza like college students also do.
Now your experience may be different but expect changes.
One more thing>>>> the big change comes when you get married and have kids. Responsibilities for kids really changes your life until they grow up and leave.

In a way it is the end of a very short era. The first finishing high school. Now, it is time to move into the career of your choice. Getting that special job and accepting more responsibility.

Not so much. You have to start finding reasons to hang out in large groups. Exercising, dancing, socials, etc., My favorite choice is the church. Its like a huge family reunion with a lot more in common.

well, you'll probably be getting a job, and you will meet new people at your workplace.. =) its not quite the same as living in a dorm and meeting TONS of new people all at once...

its sure harder then i ever expected, i am expected to be more prepared foreverything and cant find a good enough job to pay for all my bills, overall it sucks
