depending o n the tools,equipment and skill you have it could take anywhere from a couple of hours to a couple of days.

it took 2 of us a total of 12 hours, from popping the hood to backing out of the drive way to change the engine in my '73 mustang

Depends on your skill level. But average would be 6-8 hours.

3 hours out 3 hours in for me if every thing goes right

i just put a moter in my truck today took 1 hour but then had to fab crossmember bolt holes, exhoust, and driveshaft so it still isnt done on a typical swap for me

in my demo car i can have it out in 20-30 min and back in less than an hour and running
