"Weird Al" Yankovic is certainly the best at what he does - I cant think of another artist who has had so much sucess with song parodies. Also I cant think of many who can make their parodys sound so similar to the origenal song. It's also worth noting that many bad parodys get credited to Al.

I used to make parodies of songs all the time. It's not that hard, really.

Compare Weird Al's gimmicky "talent" to REAL musicial genius, such as that which is displayed by Tool.

I know for a fact there's a band out of NY that does lounge covers of songs. Quite funny too. They were on one of those late night shows one night

most of his stuff, you hear it once, might laugh when it starts.. but gets annoying.

btw, it's easy to make fun of a song
