he now has spoken ( HEY ) and recently tapped me on my baseball cap ( when I got angery with my girlfriend ) and was speaking loudly ! He always liked her and was "ticked" that I had raised my voice at her ! We have both really felt his presence and have set "house rules" which seems to be working ( ie. the car keys are not being moved ) although, we feel he is now more active in making his presense known. We have not seen him but, do know he is here ( not all the time ) and I have told him to go to the light although, he has not ~
My dear friend John, passed away in his sleep and we truely feel he does not know it or does not accept the fact. It is kinda cool that he visits and I must admit when I heard him say, " Hey " it was freaky. I spoke back to him with no response but, I know what I heard and swear to it ! My question is ~ should I be accepting of his visits and welcome him or keep telling him to go to the light ? I feel a true friend would ~ want to help him !

Well if he unexpectedly passed on. Then he probably has some unfinished business that he needs to have taken care of. See if you can find a medium that can probably help him move on. Because its not necessarily your fault that hes not moving on, its just that his business is not completed yet. So as a true friend get him that medium that person that can help him to finish what he needs done.

You are absolutley right, I don't think your friend knows that he's passed. Then again, maybe he does and he's sticking around you because he has unfinished business. Advice: get a tape recorder and ask him some questions, play the tape back with the volume turned all the way up to see if you can hear him reply. I would suggest a local paranormal group to visit since they will be the experts on the equiptment. People stick around after they've passed either because they don't know they've passed or they have unfinshed business. I suggest you find out and help you friend.

Hmm wondering spirits... maybe he hasn't done what he wants to do the day that he died.... you cant tell him *HEY!!! DUDE!!! GO TO THE LIGHT?!?!* and he'll be like Light WTF are you taking about Light Bulb?!!?
naaa I'm being sarcastic but that can be true.... you can try this... write on a piece of paper what are the things that need to be done huh *the name of your lost friend* and leave a pen or pencil... better much a pencil cause it has more nature than a plastic ball pen :D then leave it if it works then good for you if it doest then .... its not your friend that visits you its the one who killed your friend during his sleep :|

A spirit should be encouraged to have no attachement with the material world. You are right. Keep telling the spirit that it must advance towards God!

Absoluterly they do exist,,,i know this from past and present personal experience,,,We have a lady ghost in our house and she has spoke to me recently called me by my name ........my advice to you is to tell your friend he is welcome to visit you and that your glad he does, but he needs to accept his death and go if he is called so he can be at peace,,,,also be firm with the house rules, make sure you tell him that pranks are not acceptable even from a friend

I guests ghosts visit their friends and loved ones because they left things undone. What is best is that we pray for their spirits to rest in peace. Also offer candles for their souls.

Brother, your friend is dead and buried. He cannot come to you now. He will live again when Jesus Christ comes to the earth. I have had experiences with "ghosts". I assure you that this is a demon masquerading as your friend. This causes you to be deveived into thinking that you don't have to live a sinless life etc and that the soul is immortal, but infact we don't have immortal souls. Only God does.

I believe what you are saying is plausible.
Tell him he is dead. He may know and just enjoy visiting you.
Talk to him as if he were there, because he could be....
