Like, whoah, dude...moths are stoners man...who else do you know that sleeps all day, drinks all the amber nectar they can find and stumbles out into the twilight only to be transfixed for hours by the buzzling or flickering of the first bright light they find?
So ultimately it's not that they're conneisseurs of B-movies and particularly craptacular viewing. Like stoners everywhere, it's that they don't care WHAT they watch, as long as it makes pretty patterns of light. How do you think Prisoner: Cell Block H became such a huge hit? It was all the moths, writing in after watching it at 2 o'clock on a Saturday morning. "Dear ITV, just wanna say...like, whooooah...Prisoner ruuuules man! Signed Benjy Moth, Flat 2b, Asquith Road"

They come in to watch you, not the late-night television shows. I can't say I blame them.

They are helpless insomniacs and really don't want to disturb your jumpers and togs while they are sleeping. Hence they hang out and watch re-runs of Coupling and the of Vicor of Dubley. (or is it Dibbley?) The shows are so enLIGHTening they can't help but be drawn in.
