It looks like a Wolf Spider.

OK that looks like a wolf spider so kill it before it poisons u and thanx for letting me remember bout the barn spider that crawled up my arm!

I am not sure where are you located. If the shape on the back looks like a fiddle, it is a brown recluse- quite venomous to Humans.
Look up spiders popular in your geographic area & compare.

probably a house hold spider its hard to tell without a clear picture of its abdomen. it wasnt violin shaped on its back was it? if it was thats a brown recluse and is very poisonous.
