I'm going to have to go with Hercules because his father is Zeus and he has god-like strength. Basically if you can take down Cerberus or any other massive mythological creature you can take anyone down.

Achilles is just a man, but a very talented and strong man at that. He would put up a very good fight against Hercules. Don't let the whole weak ankle thing trick you. Achilles was shot with a poison dart when he wasn't looking and that was the only unprotected part of his body.

Over all I would say Hercules because of sher strength. It would be a good fight though.

Depends on how they were fighting, I would say. Weapons aren't going to do too well against Achilles, but would be effective against Hercules. If Herc could get in close, turn it into a wrestling match, then he'd have a definate advantage.

I'd put my money on Hercules - Achilles was good, and fast, but Hercules was no slouch. And no dummy, either - remember that he dealt with the Twelve Labors, which took some grey matter along with brawn, so I think he'd be able to figure something out in time.

oooh I'm gonna' break the mold here.

Achilles would win. Sure sure Hercules was a god's son, but Achilles was a man and a hero of the people. Hercules only had strength....all of a sudden I get the image of a stupid blundering strongman or dare I say......Hulk.. *gasp*

Achilles was a warrior and renown for his warriorhood status. He was the warrior every common man wanted to be, in my mind that means he could pick up any weapon and use it to full efficiency. So yeah Herc could throw a bolder...but that doesn't mean he could aim.

And according to old Greek traditions one had to shed their mortal skin to become an ascended god of sorts....or climb Olympus....and since Achilles has already died, I envision him as a heroic god now...right on par with Herc.

Has to be Hercules, but less of the Kevin Sorbo type I'd say (he'd try and be good and make peace with Achilles or something then get trounced, I'm sure)

Achilles is a bit of a heel so most probably Herculie's.

Didn't Herculie's once make a bicycle? ( most probably to make a hasty retreat.)

Achilles was a soldier, a very good one but Hercules was a demi-god so in a completely different league.

Achilles became into no longer descended from a god neither became into Yahshuah(Jesus). Yahshuah is GOD. Achilles would have been killed for attempting to kill a guy considered as a liberator for the Jews of that era.

HERCULES because Achilles has a weak heel as his mother was holding him by the heels to dip in the river so that is his weakest part....
