I think it will be Federer in men and Justine Henin Hardenne in women. Agassi is definitely an enormous player but he stands little chance against the current tennis gurus. Nadal, as you said, is hot but he needs to be more consistent. He is losing more matches to lower-ranked players than to FedEx. Still, he is brilliant. Finally, THE "SWEET" CUP IS NEITHER SWEET NOR THE WINNER IS GOING TO SWALLOW IT!!!!!!!!!!

Roger Federer.
Nadal isn't that much of a good player on any surface beside clay.
And Agassi might make it to the finals but just like last year he won't be able to get through Federer. We all saw Agassi's performance last year and he can be really good if he tries. I mean he played an unbelievable game against James Blake.
Federer is simply a grate player and I really hope he wins.
As for women I think and hope it will be Justine Henin-Hardenne. She is a terrific player.
I hope Roddick can perform better than this years previous Grand Slams because not long ago he was a world No.2 and a very worthy player.

I'm definitely behind Federer. He plays beautiful tennis and he has the skills to thrash mind you, not just beat every single player at the US Open with the possible exception of Nadal.
I hope the finals will either be a repeat of last year or Federer vs Roddick. It's Agassi's last year after all and I really hope he does well enough to end it with a bang, albeit one not big enough to stop FedEx. Aside from Agassi, there's only Roddick and Nadal who will probably face Federer.

Federer and Nadal have to be the favorites, but Roddick and Agassi can win too. About the female winner, I really don't know who can get the championship.

I think Federer will win again.
Honestly, Agassi will ended up his career at next game against Baghdatis.
Are you still have expectation on Andy Roddick?
Low tide for Nablondian.
Nadal seems cannot handle the speed of hard court while against Federer.
Baghdatis lacking of experience.
So....... still Roger Federer

Roddick is going to come out strong now that he has Connors on his side.
Overall, Federer should come out the victor.
