Yes. The first year he did the commercials, there was an actress playing his mom. Then, they got him mom to do the commercials. I remember reading People magazine and there was an article on her and her "celebrity" now that she does the commericals.

Yeah. When he first made commericals with Cambells, they used an actor to play his mother. So in some of the very early commericals, its not actually his mom. Apparently his mom went to the set one day to see Donovan in the commercial, and realised that she could easily do the acting. So for the next comercial for cambells she played the mom, and has ever since.

Yeah but it's a dumb-*** commercial if you ask me. "Campbell" soup only went ahead with that comercial because they actually thought the eagles were going to win it that year the commercial was released. The eagles failed, but why waste money?--So, they released it anyway.
