No it's a side dish. You're not really considering just toast, are you? Your friends could be insulted.

No! A meal is considered at least four food groups. Toast is grains, butter is dairy. You still need a fruit or veggie and a protein.

Add Peanut butter or cheese whiz to the toast and serve juice of any variety.

Nice dinner! LMAO!

I guess with the butter maybe you can attract rats instead of mice.

Maybe if you put some poached or soft boiled eggs with cheese on top with some bacon and sausage. Or if your friends are Ethiopian they would welcome your fine meal
