You can actually experience symptoms the day that you become pregnant. I don't know exactly how it works but i have met several people that have wondered why they were so sick or why they were so emotional, when they hadn't even missed the period yet. It happens, just depends on how sensitive your body is, hope this helps.

People had been telling me I didnt look so good for a while. Thought I was just coming down with something cuz I was tired, and not feeling well. Turns out, I was pregnant. Morning, or rather ALL-DAY sickness lasted from about month one to month seven. Breast tenderness was there too, early on. I kept thinking I would start my period cuz I felt like crap and was experiencing PMS-like symptoms of fatigue, crankiness, etc. So I guess the morning sickness and everything happened about 2 weeks after my missed period. But the other things like fatigue and just all around looking icky happened before I even had a clue I was prego. Its different for everyone. My boss had no clue she was pregnant til she was 5 months along. She was still having period-like bleeding, and felt totally normal her whole pregnancy.

With my first pregnancy, I knew right before I missed my period. The second we had sex, one week later I threw up. Happy Anniversary Honey! The third, I had no idea until my period was late. The most consistent symptom I had was being extremely tired, and just not feeling well. Sex was painfull, even before I knew, especially with the first and last. Morning sickness was a definite with all 3. It started by the time I missed my period, except with the second. I know this sounds weird, but it felt like I was "closed" there. I know the cervix closes shortly after conception, but it was strange that I could feel it. I hope I could help. Hope all goes well good luck.

I started getting symptoms a week after I had sex come to think about it before I knew I was pregnant. I would get these severe headaches and get super dizzy. I also couldn't consume as much alcohol without throwing up or getting very sick in the stomach. But as the weeks went on I would get nauseated all the time and this was like 5 weeks into the pregnancy but those symptoms quickly disappeared after I hit 3 months.

Some women start having symptoms the moment implantation occurs and they start getting the hCG in their system. Some women have no symptoms at all. If you had a positive Hpt and have no sickness yet count your blessings and get to the OBGYN. :-) Good Luck and I hope you have a happy and healthy 9 months.

Everyone is different.... and not everyone experiences "symptoms". With my son I was slightly nauseous for a week or 2 and my daughter nothing at all... If you got the + result I wouldnt concern myself wondering about something that might or might not happen.
