The word politics can carry baggage if used in a negative light. Yet, even if we are interested in it or not, it affects each and every one of us. During elections we choose representatives (politicians)to make laws for us and represent our districts, states and nation. There are other numerous possibilities that politics affects our daily life. For example, the Federal Drug Administration recently approved of a law to make the morning-after pill without a prescription. How about the fact that young citizens of America are allowed to vote only after they reach the age of 18. Politics is a man-made institution that affects us all whether for good or bad.

I would say I am disappointed in politics because after the person gets in office they do not fulfil their promises. Most politicians are very very rich. Middle class and under have no chance of getting elected due to campaign costs.

If my opinion and action can help others, then certain. the position all the talkers and manipulators are worried, they're purely talking heads with not something doable to say. Why waste my time and power. at present, I have an interest contained in the will of the persons not being respected and clinical marijuana providors being pulled into courtroom in an attempt to prosecute them as drug sellers. it is right now hostile to the will of the persons, who they're meant to be operating for. there are countless situations at present pending from San Francisco to San Diego.

i live in canada and care little for canadian politics. because canadian politics does not matter to any one else. in fact it matters to very few canadians. or i should say canadians are an ill informed bunch and their political views show that.
i do, however, enjoy world politics greatly. and for the exact reasons you cited.
the decisions made by the us, great britain and the rest of great powers affect us all and we should, both care and have an informed opinion.
thank you for posting a decent question. although i suspect you will receive few decent answers
