Hey, So I was in a 10 team league and was initially set to draft 5th. However, since there wasn't anyone I particularly liked, I traded my 1st, 2nd, 5th and 6th draft picks for those same picks from the person set to draft 9th (so that I would have a higher 2nd round pick). Here is the team I ended up with:

QB- M. Hasselbeck (Sea)
RB- S. Jackson (StL), C. Portis (Was), D. Williams (Car), T. Duckett (Was), C. Taylor (Min), W. Lundy (Hou)
WR- D. Jackson (Sea), D. Stallworth (Phi), H. Ward (Pit), Ma. Jones (Jac)
TE- L. Smith (Phi), V. Davis (SF)
K- J. Kasay (Car)
DEF- Washington, Denver

And I'd really appreciate any tips to make the team better, thanks!

Good RB depth. Very good RB depth... Worried about Portis, but you were smart enough to land Duckett. Taylor is a perfect #3 back. Very, very good RB corp.

The WRs are ok, though I'm not crazy about Jones. Still, good enough group to get by with.

Hasselbeck is a nice, solid QB.

I wouldn't carry two TEs or two Ds if I were you. I won't tell you to drop Davis though, eventhough I don't trust rookies, he's got alot of upside. At least drop one of the Ds though. Take a look at the waiver wire and see if there are any interesting QBs or WRs you could use as backups. They'll be more valuable than the D.

Drop a RB and pick up another QB as backup.

Your WR core was saved by the recent D. Stallworth trade to Philladelphia.

Overall Rating: A -

Improvement Option: Add/Drop a running back for a backup QB.

I disagree. I think you have serious issues with your WRs. D. Jackson is about as durable as paper mache and also not really a #1 WR. His TDs have gone down every year since 2003, and last year he only played 6 games! D. Stallworth 'might' do something in Philly, but that's a BIG might, so H. Ward is all you are working with. I would recommend you trade a RB for a premium WR.

Drop Duckett and maybe Williams ( I would hold him to see how Foster does for abit but you got 4 good backs) Maybe add a WR even though you look pretty good there. You should do pretty well.

not a bad team at all. Not a lot of depth at WR - not a fan of Stallworth, but maybe McNabb makes him a better fantasy option.

You should make the playoffs if people stay healthy.

thank you for asking this question as you supply me a raffle to vent. the main over rated group palms down is Wisconsin. they're solid, i'm going to offer them that, yet no longer #5. final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days they did no longer play Ohio State that's why they went 11-a million. once you play in a convention the place 6 out of 11 communities are not even bowl eligible, you do no longer play the final group, and lose to the 2nd ultimate, you extra helpful bypass 11-a million. Their maximum spectacular win interior the familiar season became against 8-4 Penn State. I mean whoopdy do! I picked the ideal 3 communities interior the enormous ten to lose their bowl video games final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days and became top on 2 out of three. by some ability, Wisconsin controlled to beat Darren Mcfadden for his or her purely spectacular win of the 300 and sixty 5 days which in my opinion nevertheless isn't adequate to be ranked #5. EDIT: Luv to trip. i'm no longer a badgers fan yet curiously i understand them extra helpful than you. Wisconsin did no longer play Ohio State. They performed Michigan and lost by ability of 14. they did no longer play Ohio State in 2006, that's why they went 11-a million. in case you love the badgers lots get YOUR info promptly. Or is it in basic terms as complicated which you will have self assurance they're ranked #5 with out taking part in Ohio State as that's for me?

Nice job! Gutsy move to move down like that! But it worked for you! You may want to drop one of your Defenses and find a backup QB. Other than that, very solid! Congrats!
