I hope they would feel nothing but respect for them due to them adopting an unwanted baby. Who cares what ethnicity they are, as long as the child has a home!!!! Working at residential facilities for abused and neglected kids I've seen a lot of white kids there needing love and could care less where they got it from.....love is love baby girl no matter what color.

I would feel just fine, if this child was going to a loving intelligent home. The best considerations should be a primary reason to adopt children,,
If a black family wanted a white child, i would wonder why instead of black, and if there was a sensible, reason, and all the legal parties, were in agreement, and the wellbeing of the child was not at risk, then great

Good question. I have never heard of a Black couple adopting a white child. White people adopt children from other nationalities and ethnic groups all the time though. Hmm.

Doubt they would feel a thing, they might say: They ought not to have done that,---- whhhhy I I-I-I II would have adopted the kid-- aghhh---how much money will the government me ahh us, me and my Misses to watch da ahh the kiiiiiidddd child. U know da neighbors, they would say...........................
In reality I believe, the white people wouldn't care until the child grew to be a teen ager----then they would have all kind of excuses to keep the grown child from dating their 'Lily White Off Spring" In other words keep IT away from .......

I am white, and so is my husband. Someday, we want to adopt a baby. Yeah, that's right, I said a baby. Notice I didn't choose a color. As long as they have a heartbeat, they will have my love.

I don't think that race or the color of ones skin should dictate whether or not they can adopt a child.
Love is the factor and not race. We all bleed the same, do we not?
