i havent started my period yet but i think everyhting else thats pubic has come already. is there something wrong with this? and another question...what is ur period like? does it hurt like RELI bad???

don't worry your period will come sooner or later. for some girls, periods come earlier and some come later. the earliest i have heard was the end of elementary school, and the latest i have heard was beginning of high school. everyone's bodies are different. let's just say you will definitely KNOW when you have your period. some girls feel worse symptoms of menstration than others. i experience cramps, backaches, and sometimes headaches. you also are more fatigued and feel bloated because of water weight gain... and you feel pretty moody too. you also get over-emotional over things you normally woulnd't get emotional over. but don't worry, these symptoms last for AT MOST a week. it's all part of the crap girls have to deal with haha

It will come about two yrs after your breasts start to grow dont worry. It hurt if you have cramps, my first couple of yrs it was pretty painful with cramps and headches but you take pill that remains pain (sorry english is not my language so I cannot tell you anything more specific). It can hurt a little but soon it becomes a normal part of your life. I got my first 6 yrs ago. It used to last for 7 days and was painful, now only 3-4 days and almost no pain at all, very rarely I get cramps. Be proud of yourself and once you get your period celebrate it. No, there's nothing wrong with that. It's only natural. When did your mom or aunt or other females at home start theirs? Having your period can be all sorts of things. It could hurt. Then again, it might not. It may last three to five days, or it might last longer. It may be regular or it might be irregular. (Like, you may skip months at first.) When I was younger, before I had a child, my period would skip months or it would last almost seven or eight days. I am not in any way telling you to get pregnant, though. It's a big responsibility! My daughter is five and I have another on the way and I'm still not ready. :(

I didn't start until I was 16. My oldest daughter was 13 I think and my younger daughter was 14. I have had months that I didn't feel a thing, but other months Id miss 2-3 days of school and need prescription pain pills for the cramps. I have found that if I increase my water intake just before and during my cycle, my cramps seem to be less painful. Good Luck hun.

Some girls get thier period as late as 18.
I think the average age is 12-14.
If your mother got hers later, then you have a better chance of getting yours later too. It may seem like a weird thing to ask your mom, but she should be cool with it.
My period never hurt at all, just blood. Periods aren't supposed to hurt, but many women have some kind of cramping, usually mild and not a big deal.

How old are you? People start their periods at different ages. I don't think I started until was 12/13 years old. My periods never bothered me. But they do for some females. Meaning, some get cramps or pain in their legs.

There is nothing wrong with that. You will probably get ur period very soon so don't worry about it. When you get your period you get cramps that hurt. Sometimes the cramps hurt me and other times i don't get cramps at all so it really different for each person

well, sum girls have pain and sum dont. like i dont have pain, not even for the first time. n doesnt matter, pubics n periods are different things. its the hormones, not the hairs that helps in bleeding. age is also a main factor, some start early and some late. nothing to worry yaar!!

it is the same case as mine..everything other than my period was coming but it came unexpected for me...i got it a year younger than when my mom got hers..so u will probably get it now or later..this year or next...dont worry ..and i think u are lucky to have not got it coz u dont have to suffer now!!! enjoy this life before u get it..and abt the cramps sometimes i dont feel it at all but sometimes it hurts really bad for me...it depends on each person.

Your periods should come very soon. Periods don't hurt at all, but sometimes it varies from person to person. Period's bite really bad. If your just starting I wouldn't recommend tampons, I would go with pads.
