There's many plants that require NOT being in the sun, shady plants that come from the lower floors of the rainforest, including some vines. Alot of shubbery, or vine plants will grow, in minimum light. Plus there are lights, and other simple and inexpensive products that would help provide food for plants, that they lax when not in direct sun light, there are many ways of getting around the lack of natural sun...
Even the simple use of mirrors to reflect light into the directions that you want to put plants, could help. But i would stick to low light, or shady plants, although most of htem are not entirely apealing.

Aloes grow with low light conditions and I even have some lucky bamboo that grows well. Take a regular lamp and put a grow light bulb in it and use it 3-4 times a week for a few hours and just about anything will grow. Good luck try different things and see.

you can grow them with a grow light. basically i have a simple shop light type fixture with two full spectrum flourescent bulbs. i use them for starting plants indoors before i transplant them out. but as long as you keep it about one inch or so above the plant it should be ok. it's not the same, but if you have a plant who doesn't need full sun or prefers shaded areas anyway, this will work fine.

i'm not sure what plants would be good since mine are usually garden type plants (veggies or herbs), not flowers. so you'll have to do some research on that.

Yes, get bamboo stalks. Often called "lucky bamboo". In addition to not needing sunlight, they can be put in water and continue to grow. They work great in a vase with rocks or marbles around them to support them. They are very hardy plants and require almost no maintenance, except for occasional chaning of water.

No, every plant needs light. Hang your plant from the ceiling right in front of your window and it will do fine or buy a silk plant.

Trying to grow some pot are we?, you'll need more light, use a 35 watt Compact fluorescent bulb over it, it gives out over 140 watts worth of light, good enough for one plant+ that little light
