Gibson Custom has different inlays, pickups, woodtype and quality, and is just a better made guitar. The Gibson #1, "Lucille", "Flying V", and Customs are the elite of Gibson guitars.

well a gibson les pual is a little more than just A les pual, then again A real old les pual is a little more than the other two, look up the retro les pual studio lite, it's nice, it's classico, it's one of a kind, to the conterary gibson is a bigger brand name and has a way wider selection of guitars.
