So far I have lost 3kl and wish to loose 7, I know that eating moderately and healthy is an important factor to a healthy diet and weight loss and also that exercising and motivation is vital. However I'm having difficulty loosing this weight, yes I'm having cravings.... I admit, but I'm holding back pretty well from them... besides those couple spoon fulls of ice cream i had but any way!!! Thats besides the point!!!! Is there any good stradegies tactics i could use to loose 7kl, for example how much exercise should I accomplish in a day, what kind of exercise, etc
Thanks for all the help guys in advance!

First, have you checked with a doctor. (You want to make sure that the amount you are planning on losing is a safe amount!)
NOW, if he/she says it's okay:
1. Exercise - to burn fat, you have to get your heart rate above a certain level. Check the link below for this. Typically, to be effective, you must have a sustained level of activity (usually about 30 minutes) at this optimum heart rate to actually "burn fat".
And, if you can, do it with a friend.
2. Diet. Never use diet alone. This will not keep your metabolism at an optimum level -- you must combine it with some form of physical activity. Watch your intake of carbohydrates and fats. We typically overdo this in Western society. (Including my neighbour who I swear eats buckets of lard, but I digress.) Be sure to eat a balanced meal. (Look into good snacks -- "negative calories" snacks are helpful.)
3. Drink sufficient water. For some of us, we cannot tell the difference between hunger and thirst. Have spare glasses of water around your home and a water bottle at work and it should help.
4. Dietary habits: There's an old German saying: "In the morning, feast like a king; in the afternoon, dine like a pauper." And, it's not a bad idea -- it forces the metabolism to be a little more steady. So, bigger portions in the am and smaller ones in the pm. And, don't miss breakfast unless you want your metabolism to lag...
(Alternative: spread out meals so that they are in several smaller portions throughout the day. It didn't work for me but it might work for you.)
5. Actually, chew your food. Seriously. Learn to savour the flavours. It will keep your body at the same metabolism level and you will eat less.
6. Use smaller plates and/or don't finish your meal. I like the former idea because I hate waste. But some people have to go through the practice of not actually finishing their food and throwing it out.
7. Salads. Often, we find ourselves eating out and choosing salads. This creates a trap where we still take in more calories than we need. Here's a tip in these situations. Don't pour the salad dressing out over the entire salad. Instead put it to one side and use it as a dip. You can use less dressing, get the same flavour (Yum! Ranch! Blue Cheese!) and use less of that fatty dressing.
And, for land-sakes, stay away from those newspaper and magazine ads. Fat-burners and quick fixes can get you into trouble and wreak habit on your organs! (Ask the poor chap a couple of years back who thought tape-worm eggs were diet pills.)

Congratulations on losing the weight, walking is an excellent exercise, a brisk walk for at least 30 minutes a day will work wonders. Have you read Paul McKenna's book " I Can Make You Thin ", it's really good and comes with a free CD, the ISBN number for it is 0593 05054 1, his methods have a proven 70% success rate. The book is not expensive, I think I paid around £8.00GBP for my copy. Good luck and keep us informed of your progress.

eat really slowly. Usually, it takes about 20 mins on average for your stomach to tell your brain that it's full. So if you spread a meal over a longer period of time, you'll eat less. Also, take smaller bites, it helps as well. Lastly, chew your food carefully. It might sound silly but it actually works.
This is the easiest way I can think of. Otherwise, just jog/run a lot.

Eat ice when you are hungy.. eat with veryyyy litlle clothing on (ex.-underwear,bathing suite) in front of a mirror, brush your teeth when your feeling hungry ( trust me on this one, just do it, if you eat, the food will be nasty and youll throw it right away ) drink caffinated drinks with skim milk and no sugar instead of snacks ( dont overkill though ) laxatives if your willing, and never ever let the food be stronger than you!! carry around pictures of what body youd like to achieve, as a ''thinspiration'' and look at it when your about to enjoy your nice fatty meal =) these will allll help lose weight.

Scarlett,
Try eliminating any beverages with sugar in them. Drink water instead and you will drop the weight that's hanging around. The additional calories from sugary drinks can really add up. Eat like you want, but with some moderation and drink water all day as well as with meals. Good luck!!

Stop eating refined sugar completely. I am sure u can drink coffee / tea with artificial sweetners.
Stop consuming coke, and other soft drinks completely as they are laced with large quantities of sugar.... very bad.
Eat only fruits for lunch. Eating fruits will in fact help to burn more calories.
Do not eat a heavy meal after 8 p.m.
Do not eat cakes and anything made with flour as calories add up.

Try to change your exercises every few weeks or your body will adapt to them and not be quite as effiective. Are you getting your heart rate high enough, 70% of your maximum hr is considered aerobic and will help burn stored weight not just the calories you have recently consumed.
