My fiance and I are getting Married on September 16th, we have always said we want kids right away, and I realized when I searched on the internet that there is only a 25% chance of getting pregnant each month, so we started trying after my last period. I just want to know if anyone can tell me how long it took them to get pregnant when they tried?

You can get pregnant the first month itself if you do it correctly. To get pregnant you must have sex on a day that your eggs are being released.

After the 3rd day from the day that menses started put a thermometer into your mouth and check your body temperature every morning before you start turning in bed. The best time is at about 4 a.m. Maintain a chart. You will find that on one day the body temperature drops from 1/2 degree to one degree. This is the day that your eggs are being released. If you want to get pregnant this is the day that you must have sex. Tell your husband to ejaculate on his inward thrust so that the sperms will shoot deep inside.

After having sex you must stay in bed for about 30 mins with your knees bent up with a pillow under your buttocks so that the sperms will not pour out - to enable them to travel up.

Get your husband to save his sperms in the testacles for at least 3 days before sex to enable them to mature well to do their job.

Track your fertility. A woman is only able to get pregnant 3 days out of the month (the rest of the time your uterus is literally blocked by a mucous plug that won't allow sperm in). A man's sperm usually can stay inside you for up to a week and get you pregnant if it has the opportunity. The closer you have sex to that 3 day window, the greater your chance to get pregnant. There are several books out there that teach you how to track fertility. However, they have these special tests you can take, available at the pharmacy where they keep the pregnancy tests. Pee on a strip and it tells you if you are at your 3 day window. Have sex when that test is positive and it is EXTREMELY likely you will get pregnant.

i got pregnant my first try but you have to make sure that all your calculation is right as far as how many day are between 1 cycle to the next and if is 28 days the you start to ovulate 14 days after if more than that then add day for every more that 28 and take way 1 day for every day less than 28 ex if you cycle is sept 23 on a 28 day cycle then u start to ovulate on oct 7

Yes it can happen, it can also take a long time. My experiences are:-

1 = took 1 year to get pregnant = miscarried at 11wks
2 = took 2 months to get pregnant = miscarried at 11wks
3 = took 5 months to get pregnant = Baby boy
4 = pregnant 6 months after baby = miscarried at 8 wks
5 = pregnant first go = miscarried at 8 wks
6 = took 1 year to get pregnant = Baby girl
7 = took 6 months to get pregnant = miscarried at 11 wks
8 = took 3 months to get pregnant = miscarried at 6 wks
9 = pregnant straight after miscarriage = Baby girl

So you see, it can happen anytime.

You may be one of the 25 % you just never know!

you have better chances if you dont try. you will be newly weds and having sex alot it will happen dont stress it until you havent gotten preg in about a year.
(when trying it took me and my husband a year and we never concived,we gave up, the first month of not trying it happened!)
(note the first 3 to 4 months after a baby is born is the mother most fertile time!) (we forgot this and got 3 in a row!)
we tryed for a year to get preg gave up and got preg. got preg the month after that baby was born and got preg two months after that baby was born!
this time we again tryed for a year with no luck gave up and got preg the first month not trying!

good luck!

possible but unlikely. 25-40% of womenconcive the first month, 75% in 6 months and a year later is a great chance

Yes it is cuz it happened to me. It actually happened in the first try - the actual date that we started was the day my son was conceived!! Its extremely rare but we really got lucky!

Whether it happens in the first try or second or whenever, the feeling of sheer happiness is so beautiful that u cant help but just let ur heart explode into tears. I hope you get to feel that soon!

Normally it takes several months to get pregnant, and that's completely normal. I wouldn't suggest rushing into it. Kids are a huge responsibility, and everyone in my family has taken time to just enjoy their husband/wife instead of jumping headfirst into it - a decision they were really happy with. Unless you're over thirty you have plenty of time to concieve.
