I am trying to explain to my roommate, who has never been to Branson just how bad the traffic can be there. She is an impatient driver prone to road rage, and thinks I am lying about the traffic situation. Please help!!

Many cities have webcams on major intersections, it would surprise me very much if Branson doesn't. Look up the official city website, I bet you can find something there.

Live in North Carolina now but lived in Missouri for 30 years and have been to Branson many times. Most people park and just walk up and down the strip. There are great restaurants, shows, miniature golf, shops with souvenirs etc. The main street is busy but you can go around it, check out Shepherd of the Hills, craft shows in the fall. Silver Dollar City and Mesquite Charlies, wonderful place to eat. It is not a long main street so park, get out and walk and enjoy Branson. Good luck

The second reference is about the town with a picture of traffic jam.

I found the clip below, but they obviously weren't there during "rush time" for the shows during tourist season!!

Driving in Branson prepared me to drive on Long Island (except out here, people just go alot faster and aren't so polite).

give her the website to your local newstation; they usually have a traffic update on the site; tell her to look during rush hour.
