I am a mother of two great boys, ages 4 and 6. And my husband and I decided we would like another child. I would like a girl but a boy would be great also. But I would like to maxamize my chances on having a girl. Any tips or advice would be great.

First you need to know when you ovulate, either by using cervical mucus techniques, Basal body temperature, Ovulation kits or a combo. The more certain you are of when you ovulate during the cycle, the better your odds are.
Have lots of PROTECTED sex. Starting from about 5 days before you ovulate have UNPROTECTED sex. Go back to PROTECTED sex no later than 2 days before you ovulate.
The theory is that the girl sperms are larger and swim slower. If you have sex BEFORE you ovulate, by the time the spem get to the egg, there will be a greater amount of girl sperm than boy sperm. The boy sperm would have gotten there sooner to find no egg.
Since the girl sperm are bigger they also live a little longer.
If your trying for aboy, you should have sex as close to ovulation as possible. The boy sperms swim quicker, so they'd get to the egg first (since you already ovulated)
Also for a girl-less caffine for the man.
Not deep penetration at the point of ejaculation.

Well, you can always pray and ask God to bless you with a girl. Maybe he may see fit to grant you the wish. I have heard of different stories during my life. I have heard to have sex alot and it will get the sperm really weak and all the boy chromo out of the way. Use protection and keep having sex constantly.. When you decide to conceive then stop using protection and have sex after a while when the sperm is much weaker from all the sex admissions and you have a better chance of getting a girl.

also you can find diets for you both that promote one or the other sex,
also the further before ovulation you have sex the better the odds for a girl because the girl sperm are stronger but boy sperm are faster. so if you have sex the day of ovulaton it will be a boy because they will get there first. if you have sex a day or two before ovulation chances are it will be a girl cause all the boy sperm will have died by then and the girl sperm will be there waiting for the egg.

There is an old wives tale saying that if you know exactly when you will ovulate to have sex 2-3 days BEFORE, because female sperm live longer than male sperm. Like I said though, Old wives tale. Trying sex in different positions has nothing to do with the sex of the sperm!

My sister said girl on bottom will get a girl. Girl on top or doggie will get a boy she swears by it. She has one of each. I have a girl and don't have a clue how it happened
