If there's a problem, the doctor's office will contact you as soon as they receive the results which is usually within a day or two of you taking the test. Otherwise, you will have to wait until your next appointment for them to tell you that everything's fine. If you're worried about the results, give them a call anyway. The best way to ease your mind is to know the results right away.

They usually have the results back that day if the lab is in the same building, but if not it can take a couple of days. If the results are abnormal your doctor will not make you wait for the results until your next appointment because they will have yo udo the test again.

here in India, the test took most of the morning coz I had to keep drinking glucose and giving urine and blood (total of 5 times if I remember correctly), so the result came the next morning. It was negative, we did the test coz the baby and I were putting on too much weight, in fact my daughter was 8 pounds 3 weeks before the due date.

Usually within a week you will get the results. They usually have to send it out to a local lab & then when they get the results from the lab they notify you. Good luck!

You will have to wait a couple days... Ask your Dr's office to call you with the results as soon as they receive them...

i dont think it comes back the same day. i had that and i had to get my blood drawn all the time..yeah it sucks cause they can only find good veins in my hand so yeah it hurt. well good luck and i hope u dont have it.. i am 3 months pregnant they will start testing me soon. with my son i was getting my blood drawn everytime i went to the doctor

If there's a problem they'll call you in 48 hours. If there isn't a problem they'll tell you at your next apointment!
