Brennu-Njáls saga is the best but Hrafnkells saga Freysgoða, Egils saga and Laxdæla saga are also okay.

There is a book called Kristin Lavrensdatter. It is quite long but very interesting. I read it years ago but I do believe it is about Iceland.
