I'm a married woman, mother of three. I'm a fun person and like to go out every now and then. I had a group of girlfriends I used to go out with in my 20's but we lost touch or moved on to other things. We used to have so much fun. My husband is my best friend, but I miss hanging out with "girls" my own age.
I've tried connecting with other women my age, but they usually have some sort of hang up or they're competitive. Is it impossibe to make new friends in your 30's?

I'm in my 30's and it is hard. When I went to college last year all the women were like 20 or 50 and noone seemed to be close to my age. But I was taking basic required college credits. But maybe there is some fun class you could take and meet new friends. I've always wanted to take floral arranging or cooking classes at the college - maybe there would be alot of women there to make friends with?

I'm in the same boat.
Good luck - I hope you find at least one good one...one good friend is better than 10 crappy friends any day.

Women at their 30's are usually busy either with family or work! Not everyone is as free. Some women have too much commitment that they don have time for themselves..

I don't think it's impossible, but women in their 30's already have their life planned out, their friends figured out. I just hard for them to change what they've been doing for ten years already.
