Yes there are!
When I was young, I always asked that question. I never really had real friends and I was terribly unhappy. But, I remained steadfast. I didn't change to please anyone and as I got older and progressed through high school and college, I made life long friends. It took a while to meet them, but the wait and sadness was worth it.

i understand how your feeling. sounds like you've been let down by someone you presumed was a mate.
a true friend respects you, loves you, would do almost anything to help you, listens to your problems, shares your worries, laughs with you, cries with you and most of all would never do anything to hurt your feelings.
i have only one true friend like this that i can rely on. there are many people i know, many people i spend a little time with but only one of those people is truly my friend.
a true friend is a gift, it's important to treat people the way you would like to be treated yourself but it seems some people take advantage of your kindness instead of returning it. these are the people we know, not the true friends we want and deserve.
sometimes discovering a true mucker is as difficult as finding a true love. it's a one in a million chance i suppose but it does exist.

yes there are! obviously they are not so many left but i personally have one.maybe the reason u ask is because ur hurt by a person who you thought was your friend but later stabbed you in the back.try not to derive your happiness from your friends but from yourself.let your friends be "Support systems" who share with you in moments of Joy and of sorrow but not the causes.

In my lifetime I can safely say that there are no real friends! They will be true to you until such a time ......loyal only sometimes.....but if they had to choose between you and their cruel family or their blood suking in-laws, or their worth nothing boyfriends.......they will not choose you!!!

yes their are and you can tell since they are the people who will accept you for who you are and they wont judge you and you can have trust in them
