1. pregnancy
2. illness
3. Extreme stress or deficiency (I hear female gymnasts sometimes have this problem due to the strenuous nature of their routines)
4. Birth control pills (can cause you to not have your period anymore, while on them)
5. menopause
Go see a OB/GYN!
I once got a VERY terrible sunburn, it put my body under enough stress that I missed a period. Just think of all the possibilities.

I would've been worried after the 2nd month. Age is a factor. Do you have your annual exams? Need to stay on top of those. There's too much that can go wrong w/ the female body to chance blowing off your annual exam. Could you possibly have something else going on w/ you (medically) that could stop your period. Go for a pregnancy test at a clinic. If you are pregnant, you need to know so you can take care of yourself and the baby. I'm a single Mom-daughter is best thing that has happened to me in the last 10 years. 'They' weren't kidding when said kids will change your life-for the better, of course. Pregnant or not, go to the Dr. The stress isn't good for you!

I went that long without a period, went to doctor many many many times, finally i found a doc that did a vaginal ultrasound. I had like 8 cysts on my ovaries and one the size of a grapefruit. Do you look bloated, I would assume after 5 months you have ruled out pregnacy? some of time cysts will rupture on there own, but with as many as i had i needed surgery. It wasnt so bad, but i was in some pain afterwords. i was 27 years old then, i am 32 now, with an IUD to stop my periods, because of endometriosis. At 24 years i had my tubes burnt clipped and tied. They said i was too young to have a historectomy. I would go to an OBGYN and have a vaginal Ultrasound done. I hope this helps. vickiel_2004

What is your age? Some women's cycles don't regulate until two years after their first period, or until they turn 16. It takes a little while for your body to get used to everything. You shouldn't worry unless you are older than 16 or if you have been getting regular periods for a few years. (If that's the case, visit a doctor.)
Don't worry, you probably have no reason to worry!

Have you tried taking a pregnancy test?....Maybe you should try if you haven't. Also, if your not pregnant, then maybe you should go see a doctor right away!...There could be something wrong.
