We will elect a new president on November 4, 2008. However, he won't be inaugurated until January 2009, so Bush'll be a lame duck, which means that he's in office but not elected until then (even though i think he's basically a lame duck now!!!!) I have this awesome screensaver from backwardsbush.com that counts down to the second how long it'll be before Bush leaves office. Right now, it says he'll leave in 872 days, 23 hours, 35 minutes, and 54.1 seconds. That's too long!

When he is either assasinated, impeached, or his term runs out. A term lasts four years and a president can only be elected twice in a row for a total of eight years.
