It depends whether you're comfortable wearing it while sweating it out, and if you're concerned it could get scratched. However if you think losing your ring will drive you crazy, keep it on your finger.

NEVER TAKE IT OFF!!!
lol
if its just a band never take it off!!
If its a diamond or other stone yes remove it.
Talk to your spouse and let them know you want a wessing band to wear to work and other places and wear the diamond for special occasions
Many people get the wrong idea about the "ring"
For everyday life you should wear a wedding band. It says your married. Thats the point. And you know the love. So if you have a diamond ring with it be some what carefull the gem can be knocked out or become loose and become lost. But talk with your spouse and make your worries clear

For the first several years I was married I never took mine off. Then I lost some weight and they were a bit floppy and I would take them off at home so I didn't have to feel them spin around and worry about one falling off. I had them resized and was back into wearing them all the time again when I suddenly lost one of the large diamonds out of my anniversary set. So, now I only put them on when I go somewhere very public. I'm always afraid of losing another diamond. The gold is so soft that the settings don't hold well. I wouldn't wear them to exercise.

Sweat won't hurt it. I would have your jeweler inspect it and look at the integrity of the ring. If he says the ring is secure, run in it. Enjoy it. Insure the ring if it has large diamonds and don't worry about losing it. It is only an object. Your love for your husband won't change if you lose a diamond or sweat on one.

Don't worry about the emotions of feeling funny sweating in it... its not literally your husband's heart and soul in that ring, right?
I used to never take mine off until I gained a ton of weight and they got too small for me. Before that, I only ever took them off if my fingers swelled and it got painful. Don't worry about scratches either. My husband always tells me, he'd rather I wear them and get them a little banged up b/c I love wearing them so much, than for them to stay completely pristine b/c they've been sitting in the jewelry box all the time and never being worn or used.

Yes. You retain a lot of water while running which will make your fingers swell, thus making your ring uncomfortably tight.

Unless it seems loose, or your fingers tend to swell when you exercise (this happens to me in hot weather), I would say no, leave it on. If you don't like taking it off, you could always wrap a bandaid on your finger just above it in case it slips.
