There are two types of database management systems

1. Relational database management systems (RDBMS)
2. Object-oriented database management systems (OODBMS)

As the above says, there are relational and object systems, but there are also object-relational systems like PostgreSQL, and flat file systems.

Alternatively, you could classify them as client/server systems (Oracle, DB2, Mimer, MySQL, PostgreSQL), application+file-based systems (Access) and embedded databases (SQLite).

I suggest you check your textbook / notes to find out which classification is used (I suspect the first set), and if object-relational or flat-file systems are counted or not.
