I’ve recently heard about the anime series called Wolf’s Rain. It sounds cool, and most of the reviews I’ve read say it’s awesome. I was wondering if someone could tell me if it’s worth the money to start purchasing the series. Also, I know it’s “not rated”, but could someone give me a general estimate of what it would be rated? I’m always a little leery of shows that say “not rated”. I’m not looking for a porn flick with a subtle plot behind it, you know?

I absolutely recommend it. Wolfs Rain is in my top 10 favorite anime series list. Really excellent characterizations. In terms of ratings, PG -13 sounds correct. Only because of the violence, which only really shows blood and death, but not really any severly graphic scenes. I think it might be too serious for some, particularly people who are acustomed to shonen action or comedy. Just letting you know what not to expect. But if the reviews have caught your interest, no reason to not try it.

I liked it. The premise that there are "people" who are really wolves in disguise is intriguing, plus there is a side issue on pollution and destruction of nature. I almost got the feeling that I get when I hear Native Americans discussing "nature" as a spirit.
The deal with the rating is that there is a certain amount of bad language and violence. I don't remember any sex to speak of throughout the series.

It is VERY good, there is not sex in it, a little violence. I would say a pg-13 rating. They had it on TV at some point I think, so not that bad rating wise.
The legend says that wolves used magic to disguise themselves as human's to survive. The whole story revolves around this pack of wolves, disguised as humans, trying to find a magical place they can live in peace and their struggles to get to this place. It is excelent and very much worth the money.

I watched the whole series, and I was hooked from the first episode. I hated the ending, but I'm biased, and I don't want to ruin it for you. I kinda figured it out half way through but the story line itself is what captured me. It's not rated for some of the violence, and some of the plot line is intended for adults if you ask me. I'd buy it, but my friend already has bought all of them.

It would not play on television anymore. you could probably purchase the DVD's (examine amazon, eBay, DVD shops, etc.) and watch them on your television that way. in the different case the internet is the in ordinary words way you'll ever watch that teach back.
