the fox barks because it is almost in the same classification as the domesticated house dog so it is common that the fox would bark.

Well I am assuming because they are part of the canine family. Hence related to the dog... dogs bark so why not foxes.

It doesn't actaully 'bark' like a dog, that's just what it's noise is called. Just like a lion has cubs and a bear has cubs. Two different things, but the same name.
Now what's REALLY freaky, is why does a panther scream like a women?
