IF SOMEONE DOESN'T LIKE YOU LIKE THAT, THEN WHAT'S THE POINT. YOU ARE WHAT YOU ARE AND TO TRY TO BE LIKE SOMETHING ELSE TO BE WITH SOMEONE THAT'S NOT LIKE YOU IS A RECIPE FOR DISASTER.
IF YOU DON'T LIKE YOU LIKE THAT, THEN YOU HAVE TO CHANGE YOU FIRST, BEFORE YOU TRY TO GET SOMEONE LIKE WHAT YOU WANT. THAT'S NOT EASY, AND I'M NOT SURE WHY YOU WOULDN'T JUST LIKE YOU THE WAY YOU ARE.
IF YOU DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO GET SOMEONE TO LIKE YOU, THEN YOU RISK BEING USED, ABUSED, AND MANIPULATED. TRUE LOVE DOESN'T NEED TO BEND OVER BACKWARDS...IT JUST HAPPENS BECAUSE IT'S RIGHT.

so the answer is, i wouldnt' do whatever it takes, unless i'm 50+

yea, what they said above. no, I wouldn't do whatever it takes because you have to be comfortable with yourself to be able to get attention.

Uh, I would probably say hi to them often, smile at them...simple gestures go a long way.
