Depends on local/ city/ and state laws... And to sum it up, men aren't the only ones that think skimpy pieces of clothing are attractive....
Women do as well, hence they visit strip joints as too...

I think it depends on where you live. I live in Toronto, and the few times I've been to strip clubs, the dancers rapidly became completely naked. Its my understanding that at gay/women's clubs, the men get fully naked.
I've read there are parts of the US where the dancers strip down to a g-string. I don't think you could make much money doing that here. Frankly, the entire thing is pretty horrible, a bunch of patrons getting wound up with no release so they keep handing over cash to dancers who probably feel exploited. Well, that's how I found it anyway ...

Some strip clubs are completely nude. Some are topless. Some are bikini. It varies based on the laws of the city and state where you live.
The amount of contact is based on the laws as well. Most places that I've been to allow lap dances, where the dancer grinds against you. Naked or mostly naked women grinding against you...it's difficult to not get turned on by that.

Most. But some clubs are just topless mainly because they serve booze and most states have laws that say where booze is sold a woman/man cannot go completly nude. This law can differ by state or even city.

Depends on local laws...in NY, the women can only go topless if alcohol is served. If no alcohol, then they can go fully naked.
In other places, like Indiana, no nudity is allowed, so the dancers wear pasties or something similar to cover their nipples.
After that, of course, is the entirely inconsistent set of rules for table dancing, lap dancing, etc.

At some of them. The one I used to waitress and bartend at they didn't but the went down to a thong. And the majority of the customers were dirty smelly immigrants who had nowhere else to go after work but the migrant camp so it didn't take much to turn them on. Some wouldn't spend even a dollar so I'd tell them to get the hell out and some of them would spend like their whole check...

Nasty men like it cause the women act nasty. Also, sex can often be had for a price.

My understanding is that most states have laws that link the nakedness to the kind of alcohol. Hard A, no bush. Beer Only, bush! In oregon they show it all anyway. This one stripper does this thing with her butthole and I don't know if it turns me on or not. I haven't decided.
