It's a young adult fiction story, about a boy who lives in the woods. I think there is a noise at night, a stomping or a knocking. And something about boots. Maybe an empty pair of boots on the doorstep? Aaargh, I can't remember. But it happens three times. Does this ring a bell with anyone? I know I'm being very vague.

there's a brown bag filled with dog poop on fire at the door and Arthur Fonzerelie and Ralph Mouth are hiding in the woods waiting for Richie Cunningham to come out and stamp it out and the hilarity ensues. The boots are Fonzie's that Richie promptly throws into the fire. Al at Al's diner gets an earfull of this story and has no idea whose side to take and gives one of those worried looks at the camera, the episode ends with the Fonze turning to Jenny Piccolo and for some unbenounced reason tells her " hey sit on it" all the while pointing to his crotch. Then he punches the juke box and the camera fades out to the song 'Tu tie Fruity'

one of the weirdest moments in TV history if you ask me, up there with the Lassie VS Godzilla fight scene
