Would love some "professional" opinions as to the gender of my second child...

Have had vivid dreams and gut feeling this child is a girl. Ultrasound photo also looks "different" than my 1st son's. (See for yourself). But, doctor says, "Another Boy"

The following ultrasound photos are of:

1- second baby's gender in question (take note this photo is LARGER than 1st son's gender photo and "down there" is less "pointed". Also, leg is not clearly visible due to movement at time of u/s.)

2- my first son's u/s gender photo

3-a "comparison" u/s photo of a baby girl

Yes, a HEALTHY baby is all that really matters! I love my first son DEARLY! But, this is driving me CRAZY. I just want to know so I can settle on a name, bond better with the baby, and relax.

Thank you for your opinions!

Looks like a boy to me...A lot of your "gut" feelings might just be wishful thinking. It is more common for boys to be mistaken for girls than the other way around. Go ahead and settle with a boy name, but keep a girl one on the back burner (after all nothing is really 100% until the baby is out of the womb), but go ahead and bond, and certainly relax..You'll need all the rest you can get.

Looks like a boy. Yes, you are very lucky to have a healthy baby as our 3-year-old son just had his 4th heart surgery. Count your blessings and have a backup girl name just in case.

i'm a firm believer that your dreams tell you things. so if you're dreams are of a girl, i think it's a girl. but like you said all that matters is that babe is healthy. i think i would settle on a boy name and a girl name, or hey do one of those fun unisex names! or even a gender specific name, could be fun....i went to school with a girl named micah. i thought her name was cool, defiantly original!

I've delivered 38 babies in 19 years and 27 of them were girls so if you make it to the hospital I vote for boy, If you are in a hotel room, back seat of a car, on a beach, at home, in an RV, at Walmart or any place other than a delivery room when the time comes, then from my experiences; it's a girl! (Please don't call me!)

PS, You got a cowboy hitching a ride in there.

Congrats!

sixteen weeks is slightly early. generally they are able to tell around 18-20 weeks and later. I had a chum who grow to earnings she grow to be having a woman by utilising the ultrasound. She had a crimson toddler bathe, a crimson nursery, crimson clothing, and grow to be arranged for a girl. Then on birthday, right here got here a eye-catching toddler boy. My first grow to be a boy, and that i grow to be advantageous he grow to be a boy, yet then all human beings advised me it is going to be a woman. finally, the ultrasound shown my first instinct, and that i had a boy. i might say for you to attend until eventually your next ultrasound to start making plans for toddler. yet once you're back advised it is a woman, it is advisable to prepare for that possibility.
