you know they always like you and seem well behaved when they are looking for a home. i'd probably take the stray in, being the sucker that i am for animals.

I would take it to the vet make sure it was healthy and keep it. Strays make the best pets! Good Luck!

I'm a pushover... it'd become mine. And like Sonia said above, strays DO make the best pets. It's like they are more appreciative for being taken in.

I've been there and done that and ended up with the most wonderful of cats( I ended up with some kittens, too). Getting them checked out at the vet would be a really good idea.

Contact the local animal shelter to let them know you found the animal and will keep it until its owner is found. Take it to the Vet and let them know you found the pet and it needs to be taken care of medically. Ask the Vet's receptionist to post a found pet sign and alert other Vets in the area that you have found the animal.
If there are no responses.... you know you did all you could and it is yours. I only say to do that much because if you lost your pet.... you would want whomever found it to do their best to let you know they have it. Right?
Good Luck!

Take the cat to a vet first if you have other animals in the house. Get him checked for any injuries/sicknesses/diseases and such. Also, If its a male cat and you have female cats and you dont want kittens, Get it fixed. Also since the cat is wild then you should maybe get it declawed so it doesn't tear up your furniture and stuff.

Keep him! Dog or cat, I don't know, but he deserves a good home. Take him to the vet for a good check up and shots, slowly introduce him to your other pets, and give him lots of love. Animals give unconditional love.

Adopt it. Although a good vet check would be highly recommended. You dont want him bringing kennel cough or something like that into your house.
