well there may be many reasons why you are not American, and I don't know them. You can get a green card can't you. Why don't you ask someone who deals with immagration and stuff like that.

Hey, I wanna be an American too. Sometimes I even forget that I'm not American and when people remind me by asking me where I'm from, cause they see I got an accent, I get really mad. I'm not proud that I'm from a different country, I love my country, but that doesn't mean you should keep talking to me about it, cause I wanna be an American! I feel really offended when people ask me where I'm from.
