I have a 1998 chevy s-10 4x4, and whenever i'm driving and i turn or go to stop, i hear a rattling noise on the driver's side that sounds like a chain rattling or metal vibrating on metal. i can't hear from inside the truck, but if i have my window rolled down, i can hear it really well.

might desire to be quite a few issues. loose brake pads loose lug nuts Worn marvel Worn bushings in case you have a hub cap, loose hub cap Worn tie rod Edit: while you're suggesting that because of the fact which you purely had your brakes labored on, it won't be able to be the brakes then you definitely are purely fooling your self. i do no longer think of it is your CV-joints as they only make a noise once you're handing over one course or the different.
