Waterbeds have issues that you must always be concerned about. Setup time large, maintenance issue, possible leaking with surrounding damage, must make sure heater element working, never gave great support or a good night's sleep, not the best for rough sex, etc... With a mobile society today, a waterbed is a challenge to move and then reset up.

Everyone wants the beds with the astronautical type material and remote controls. With separate firmnesses on each side. Technology is running over another good thing.

I've never seen a waterbed store.

Also, you don't need stores. Everyone's all about Internet and Infomercials.

They cause big problems, none wants a water bed any more, think about it, if you have a spouse and he gets up several times during the night, he'd wake you up every single time because the bed moves so much and it takes time to settle, it's such a nightmare, then changing the water after some time, danger with puncturing it, that happened quite often and guess what, it could ruin your entire home, especially if it's a king size, it'd ruin the floors or carpet and rest of the furniture, not a good idea to have.
